Course Introduction
Welcome to your course. The first couple of lessons are designed to familiarize you with the e-learning environment and course structure.
My name is Karl Dear and I’ll be your instructor for this course. Prior to becoming the Training Director for Golden Seal Enterprises, I served for 8 years as a Marine, first as an Infantryman (or ground pounder) and then later on the All-Marine Corps Shooting Team.
After leaving active-duty, I earned a degree in Criminal Justice and worked as a federal police officer. I’ve been a guest speaker/instructor for numerous State and Federal agencies.
I’d like to thank you again for choosing Golden Seal Enterprises for your training and trust this will a positive educational experience.

Each course is comprised of individual lessons. The number of lessons varies by course. Most courses have a linear progression. This means you are required to complete each lesson in order. Once a lesson has been marked complete, you are free to navigate back to that lesson using the sidebar should you wish to revisit any material.
Marking a lesson complete is accomplished by clicking on the “Mark Complete” button at the bottom of this page. Marking a lesson complete should advance you automatically to the next lesson, but if not you can alternatively select “Next Lesson”.
Go ahead and mark your first lesson complete at the bottom of this page to advance to the next lesson.
