WHAT WE COLLECT AND STORE
GSE Online follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
Golden Seal Enterprises, Inc. (GSE) is the sole owner of any personal information collected on this website. GSE collects information that individuals voluntarily provide. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. All sensitive information is transmitted to us in a secure way and student information is protected both online and offline. Account and course information is stored for as long as the account exists.
When you choose to train with GSE, we’ll ask you to provide an email address and/or other personal information. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as to:
- Send you information about your account and order.
- Create your account for our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Provide information to the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services to complete any initial or in-service training verification requirements (6VAC20).
WHO ON OUR TEAM HAS ACCESS
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Group Leaders can access:
- Order information such as your enrolled courses, course progress, and username / email address.
- Any additional information you have provided as part of a course can also be visible to the administrator(s).
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see PayPal’s Privacy Statement for more details on what information they collect and how they use it.
Unless otherwise stated, GSE Online and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on GSE Online. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from GSE Online for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions. You may not:
- Republish material from GSE Online.
- Sell, rent, or sub-license material from GSE Online.
- Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from GSE Online.
- Redistribute content from GSE Online.
